Cooking Class - Summer Camp: Island Luau Lunch
What you'll do
Aloha! In this hands-on class, kids will bring the flavours of the islands to life as they create a bright and delicious tropical-inspired meal. We'll start with a Fresh Pineapple Salsa served with Crisp Cinnamon Tortilla Chips, then enjoy Longo's Seasoned Whole Breast Meat Chicken Nuggets paired with fluffy Coconut Rice. To finish, kids will layer their own no-bake Tropical Cheesecake Parfaits with creamy filling, graham crumble and juicy tropical fruits. It's a fun, flavour-packed escape to the islands. Note: Ages 6 to 12 (grades 1 to 6 as of September 2026). Drop-off program. Kids make and enjoy their own snacks and lunch. Please bring a reusable water bottle (no outside food or beverages).

PLEASE NOTE:
A parent must accompany the child to The Loft room at the store and complete sign in forms to be able to drop off your child. Before dropping off your child at the class, you will be required to review and sign a Release of Liability and Waiver Form. A child that does not have a completed form cannot participate.
Our In-store Cooking Classes for Kids are children drop off classes, designed for kids grades 1-6 as of Sept of the current year. If your child does not meet this age requirement (6 and above, or turning 6 and entering Grade 1 by September of the current year), the child should not be registered for classes. If, upon drop off, a registered child is confirmed to be below the age requirement, The Loft Coordinator has the right to refuse entry to the class.
